Do You Want to Read the Bible, But Don’t Know Where to Begin?

Have you ever wanted to read the Bible, but did not know where or how to begin?  If so, then this 8-part Bible study is for you! A Quick Journey through the Bible makes reading the Bible not only easy, but exciting. In this study, you will learn the major people, places, events and themes of the bible-getting the “big picture” of salvation history-from Genesis to Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church. This Bible study will enrich your life and make the mass readings come alive like never before. Each session will include a DVD lesson by Jeff Cavins followed by a discussion with Fr. Smith. 

The Bible Timeline will be offered twice a week (Tuesday evenings OR Thursday mornings) at St. Mary Church in Bishop O’Neill Hall. The Tuesday evening sessions will begin on November 11, 6-8pm. The Thursday morning sessions will begin on November 13, 8:30-10:30am.The cost of materials: workbook, timeline chart, bookmark & memory aids is $20. If the cost of materials is a difficulty, please contact Fr.
